Jaipal Reddy justifies fuel price hike

Reacting on the hike of prices of diesel, cooking gas and kerosene, petroleum and natural gas ,inister S Jaipal Reddy, on Friday said that the hike is not a big increase and should not burden the consumers. Government raised the price of diesel by 3 rupees per litre to around 41 rupees per litre. It also raised kerosene by 2 rupees per litre and LPG prices by 50 rupees per cylinder. Reddy further said that the increase would only impact politicians as they get another reason to slam the ruling government.
