Japanese minister calls on Indian foreign minister

Japanese Deputy Minister for foreign affairs Shotaro Yachi on Tuesday met Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi. Yachi is in New Delhi to prepare ground for a high-level visit by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe later this year. Abe is expected to visit India in August to boost economic and strategic cooperation. Japan had proposed creation of a strategic forum involving India, United States and Australia.
