Jayalalithaa questions PM's role in 2G scam

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Saturday in Chennai, questioned the role of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and home minister P Chidambaram over their alleged involvement in facilitating the 2G spectrum telecom scam. The state chief however supported the cabinet's decision to exclude the Prime Minster from the ambit of the lokpal. She said such a move would undermine the authority of the Prime Minister and weaken democratic set up.
