JD (S) rules out alliance

Janata Dal (Secular), a regional outfit in India's poll bound Karnataka has ruled out a post poll alliance with the country's main political parties, the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata party. The JD-S has earlier shared power with the Congress and the BJP under coalition arrangement in Karnataka. JD-S supremo, Dev Gowda, while releasing the party manifesto said that power sharing with both parties had proved disastrous for his party.
