Jharkhand police introduces community-policing programme

Jharkhand police have regularly introduced many welfare schemes in remote Maoist infested areas. Recently, under the community-policing programme, Khelari Police distributed essential items for use in normal day-to-day life to people in Basaria village in Ranchi district. This step was taken with the aim of strengthening police-public relationship.
