Speaking at the annual conclave of the persons of Indian origin on January 9, Indian Trade Minister Kamal Nath said that India's relations with the global economy and its global citizens are important for the growth of the country's economy. Over one thousand persons of the Indian origin (PIOs) from over 50 countries are taking part in the three-day event.
