Kapil Sibal unveils low cost access-cum-Computing Device

A low-cost computing-cum-access device priced at around $35 apiece was unveiled on Thursday by Kapil Sibal, Human Resource Development Minister, in New Delhi. The device includes state-of-the-art system-ware and multimedia features. The computer's hardware has been created with sufficient flexibility to incorporate new components according to user requirement. The price of the device, currently $35, or Rs 1,500, is likely to drop down to $20 and ultimately to $10 apiece.
