The vital Jammu-Srinagar highway in Jammu and Kashmir has partially re-opened to vehicular traffic on Monday, February 11, after being closed due to heavy snowfall in the valley. Hundreds of trucks and other vehicles, that had been stranded on the highway for a long time due to the blockade causing accumulation of snow, finally heaved a sigh of relief.
