Kashmir shutdown enters second day

The shutdown in Kashmir to protest the killing of religious scholar Moulvi Showkat Shah entered second day today. Moulvi was killed in a bomb blast outside a mosque in Srinagar on Friday. Soon after the incident the separatist outfits including Hurriyat Conference and JKLF (Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front) gave a two-day shutdown call. Farooq, a local said that the public supported the shutdown and killings in the Kashmir valley should be stopped.
