Kashmir wants elections to bring peace

Former Chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and patron of National conference party, Farooq Abdullah on Friday said that good turnout during the first phase of elections in the state showed that Kashmir has voted for peace and development in the state. Locals in the state said that they also wanted good governance irrespective of the party that takes power. Kashmir is in the midst of a 7-phased provincial poll.
