Kashmiris cannot do without tea (the video is loading, may take long. Please bear with us...)

So, what are the ingredients for a perfect cup of morning tea? A pot of boiling water, tea leaves added … some warm milk and some sugar? Wrong! No Sugar, add some salt instead. Well, that's Noon Chai that most Kashmiri households wake up to every morning. A literal translation of Noon chai reads the “salt tea”. A heady concoction of soda, milk, salt, butter, dry fruits and of course, water and tea leaves - the noon chai is something that a Kashmiri simply cannot do without.
