Kejriwal, IAC members released
India Against Corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal and his supporters were released from police custody today after spending a night in a makeshift jail at Bawana Stadium in New Delhi. Meanwhile the activists are on their way to protest in front of Parliament street police station and sit on a dharna. Earlier, before the release Kejriwal had said that they would continue with their agitation at any cost either from behind the bars or from outside. Kejriwal had also alleged that the police were picking up volunteers and beating them up to terrorize them. Kejriwal and scores of his supporters were yesterday detained during a protest to demand resignation of Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid over the siphoning of funds of a charitable NGO that his wife Louise runs.
