Kesar mango crop hit by low temperatures

The arrival of Gujarat's famed 'Kesar' mangoes from Talala in western India will get delayed till the first week of May as low temperatures during winter have badly hit the mango crop. This is the only crop of Talala and for many farmers Kesar mangoes are the main source of their livelihood. Normally as summer approaches, the demand for Kesar mangoes reaches a crescendo in Gujarat.
