Left campaigns against multi-nation naval exercise

Left parties on Tuesday launched a massive protest against the joint Indo-US naval exercise, involving India, US, Japan, Australia and Singapore. The rally was flagged off by veteran leader of the Communist Party of India - Marxist Jyoti Basu, and CPI general secretary AB Bardhan. Rallies from Chennai city and Kolkata will converge in Vishakhapatnam on September 8.
