Left-wing extremists make their presence felt in urban India
Updated on Sept 26, 2012 11:43 am IST
After creating havoc in interiors of India, left-wing extremists are gradually creating a base for themselves in urban areas. According to experts and intelligence agencies, left-wing extremists have a clear cut strategy to infiltrate various workers' unions in metropolitan cities. The involvement of left-wing extremists is strongly suspected in the recent violent protests at the Maruti Suzuki's Manesar factory, and the strike at the Honda factory in Gurgaon, couple of years ago. It is believed that some well-known workers' unions in Delhi have been infiltrated by the extremists.
