Lok Sabha passes two anti-terrorism bills

The Lower House of Parliament, Lok Sabha, on Wednesday unanimously passed the bill to set up a National Investigative Agency and also endorse amendments in the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act of 1967 and Central Industrial Security Force Act. The bills will now be presented in the Upper House of parliament, Rajya Sabha for final clearance. Earlier in the day, Home Minister P Chidambaram said that any reservations from any party can be reviewed in the next session.
