After the government and the civil society representatives failed to arrive at a common draft on the Lokpal Bill in their final meeting on Tuesday, social activist Anna Hazare said that the government is not serious on the issue. Sending a clear warning to the government that talks have failed, Hazare in New Delhi said the government does not want to bring a strong Lokpal Bill, leaving no option other than to go forward on his fast on 16 August.
