After Delhi, Lucknow is facing the wrath of demolition. And Sahara is facing the heat. A team of Lucknow Development Authority or LDA and Public Works Department or PWD has demolished the outer walls and watch tower of Sahara city. LDA's drive to remove alleged encroachments by Sahara started on late Wednesday night. An LDA official said a portion of Sahara Shahar was encroaching on the land earmarked for a 30 metre wide zonal road in its Masterplan 2021.
