M'rashtra gets its new chief

The new chief minister of Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan took oath on Monday following resignation by his predecessor after the Mumbai terror attacks that claimed 195 lives. Chavan of ruling Congress party was sworn in as the new chief minister at a simple function along with a 24-member cabinet. Chhagan Bhujbal of the regional Nationalist Congress Party or NCP was sworn-in as the new Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
