Madhuri Gupta case serious, thorough probe on: Krishna

Foreign Minister S M Krishna in Thimphu on Wednesday said that the government is taking the arrest of an Indian diplomat Madhuri Gupta on charges of spying for Pakistan very seriously and further asserted that probe is on into the matter. Madhuri Gupta, a Second Secretary at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, was arrested in New Delhi on Sunday after being called back by the Foreign Ministry for consultations related to the 16th SAARC Summit being held at Thimphu on April 28 and 29.
