Manmohan’s new batch takes charge

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's new ministers took charge today after 22 ministers were sworn in on Sunday. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who assumed charge as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power said that power sector is one of the important sectors for the country's economy. Newly appointed Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Veerappa Moily said that it is a challenging ministry and he would deal with the issues cautiously. Newly appointed Corporate Affairs Minister Sachin Pilot said he believes in creating a culture of transparency of clean government and if any one is committing illegularity it would be dealt firmly.
