Maoist attack on paramilitary personnel

Maoists killed at least six paramilitary soldiers in a landmine attack in Latehar district of Jharkhand on Thursday in order to disrupt the upcoming general elections. Maoists wanted people to boycott the elections in the state. The attack happened when personnel were returning from their patrolling duty. A helper and the driver of the bus were amongst those who were killed in the attack, the injured were flown to Ranchi for treatment.
