While the second phase of Bihar assembly elections recorded more than 50percent of voter turnout; new threats from Maoists have surfaced for the third phase. The rebels have pasted their threat posters all across the Jandaha Road in Hajipur warning the locals of dire consequences, if they cast their votes. Consequently, the overall scenario in Hajipur has been of mixed feelings. While there are some who are unmoved by these threats, several others are thinking twice about casting their votes.
