Maoists have assured safety of abducted officials: Orissa Home Sec

As the Maoist interlocutors G Haragopal and R Someswara Rao started their preliminary discussions on Sunday with Orissa government for the release of abducted Malkangiri collector R. V. Krishna and junior engineer Pabitra Mohan Majhi, Home secretary of Orissa U.N.Behera said that Maoists have assured the safety of the abducted officials. While addressing media persons on Sunday in Bhubneshwar, the Home Secretary said that talks between Maoists and interlocutors are going on.
