May have to revive agitation against corruption: Anna

Updated on Jun 16, 2011 10:33 pm IST

Anti corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Thursday said he might have to revive the agitation against corruption, as the government is backing out from all the promises on the Lokpal Bill. While talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, Hazare added the government is not willing to make India a corruption free country. Hazare added it seemed that the government was not interested in formulating a strong Lokpal Bill. The social activist further said there is no use of formulating a weak bill, as it would be of no benefit for the society and the country.
