Maya condemns Lakhimpur case, says 'no objection to CBI probe'

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati on Wednesday condemned the Lakhimpur teenaged girl's murder and assured about stringent action against the guilty. Slamming the visit of teams from NHRC and National Commission for Women (NCW) to the Lakhimpur distict to look into the incident, Mayawati said that organisations are political wings of the centre to pressurise the state governments.
