Updated on Apr 26, 2013 08:43 pm IST
A man in Pune has taken his obsession for gold to an all new level by getting one of the world's most expensive shirts made for him, with more than three kilograms of gold. 32-year-old money-lender Datta Phuge, commissioned the shirt, which took a team of 15 goldsmiths two weeks, 16 hours a day to prepare. The shirt has been designed by the owner of a jewellery store, Tejpal Ranka, who said that Phuge has been his regular customer for the past many years. Phuge said that he wanted to do something, which would make him famous across the country and get his name into record books.
