Meira Kumar rules out suspension of opposition leaders

Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar on Saturday ruled out suspension of opposition lawmakers for stalling the house over the coal scam. The suspected "coalgate" affair has paralysed the Parliament after the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) said that the underpriced sales of coalfields may have cost the exchequer as much as Rs 1.86 lakh crore in lost revenues.
