Mentally challenged girl raped by CRPF jawan in AP

The horrifying fact that a mentally challenged girl in a care home was raped allegedly by a CRPF jawan is now gathering a storm in Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra govt has finally taken note, though it comes more than six months after the incident. The child was raped in April this year within the premises of Sai Vikas Development Centre in Warangal. The manager of the centre Sitayamma who was allegedly a witness to the rape had been threatened by the culprits. The girl prematurely gave birth to a baby boy who died soon after.
