Merchandise exports will be doubled by 2014: Anand

India is all set to target more than double its merchandise exports to touch the figure of Dollar500 billion over the next three years. Commerce Minister Anand Sharma disclosed this while briefing the mediapersons in New Delhi on Tuesday. While releasing the plan work, titled as 'Strategy for Doubling Exports in next Three Years', for achieving the target, the minister said that special sectors had also been targeted to give greater emphasis while implementing the plan.
