Modi favours use of social media to relay political issues: BJP
Updated on May 21, 2013 10:28 pm IST
The BJP on Tuesday said that Gujarat chief minister, Narendra Modi advocates extensive use of social media to communicate political issues in order to reach out to the youth of the country. The BJP alleged that UPA headed by the Congress had failed on all fronts on ninth anniversary of the government. The UPA government headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was sworn-in on May 22, 2004 and was re-elected in 2009. Modi's reputation for clean governance and clear rules make him popular with the middle class and a favorite of Indian and foreign corporations doing business in his state.
