Modi in Rajya Sabha: Accept Niranjan Jyoti's apology, let the House function

The stalemate in Rajya Sabha over the hate speech by Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti forced Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make a statement in parliament. Modi urged the House to let proceedings continue as Jyoti had already apologized. However, the Opposition appeared to be in no mood to relent on its demand for her ouster.
