More Metro trains to tackle Tuesday’s rush

The Delhi Metro has kept six more trains on standby on Tuesday to cope with the Raksha Bandhan rush. The Metro trains started running at a peak frequency of 4 minutes from 8 am, which could continue till 8.30 pm. Delhi Metro, the modern mass transit system of Delhi, ferries over 525,000 passengers a day over its 65-km network. Meanwhile, the frequency of trains has also increased.
