The 6 feet 5 inch tall man who can turn the match from a sure defeat to a winning stage is Morne Morkel. Born on 6 October, 1984, Morkel is well known for his all rounder skill. This South African Giant was hand-picked by Allan Donald as the one for the future. Morkel is an out-and-out fast bowler who has the pace and height to trouble the best and is also a threat for the opponents. On his first-class debut bowled 17 no balls in five overs against the West Indies. He has made his ODI debut for the Africa XI against Asia XI in 2007. Morkel has created ODI history by opening the bowling with brother Albie in his second ODI – the first time brothers had achieved this feat. Now he is regarded as one of the leading fast bowlers in ODI cricket. He's the only player to take 5 wicket haul in the international T20 match against New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup
