Muggles party at the witching hour

From London and New York to Mumbai and Australia's Outback, at the witching hour tonight, Harry Potter's muggle fans are expected to queue up at bookshops, hoping to buy one of the first copies. There are contests, quizzes, 'Potterware' as prizes – it's going to be party time. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will hit the shelves in a carefully orchestrated release designed to maximise suspense and sales internationally.
