Mukherjee condition stable after car crash

Doctors treating External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said on Sunday that he needed several stitches for a head injury. Mukherjee suffered several injuries when the car in which he was travelling from Murshidabad to Kolkata collided with a truck on National Highway 34 in Nadia District on Saturday night. Doctors, said he was "cheerful", and there was no cause for concern.
