Mullaperiyar Row: TN Cong MPs hold protest

Congress MPs from Tamil Nadu today held a protest in front of the Parliament building against a Kerala government's wish to reduce the height of Mullaperiyar Dam to 120 feet, while the Supreme Court had approved the dam height to be raised to 142 feet from existing 136 feet. B. Gnanadesigan, one of the protesting MPs stated that it was necessary for both Kerala and Tamil Nadu to wait till the findings of an approval committee come out.
