Mumbai chokes on poor infrastructure

As Mumbai got flooded due to torrential rains, it brought back memories of a terrible day two years ago when the city not just came to a stand still but was literally felled to its knees. Heavy rain in Mumbai evokes images and fears of a repeat of 26/7 when it rained 944 mm in 24 hours. On Saturday, this year, it was less than half-- 430mm in just about 24 hours.
