Updated on Nov 25, 2012 07:37 pm IST

Kins of the victims who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks today paid tribute to them and vowed to fight militancy as they participated in a global peace initiative in Mumbai. A day before the anniversary of the tragic attacks, a US national Kia Scherr, who lost her family in the attacks, expressed gratitude to the city for extending emotional support in trying times. Lauding Mumbai's 'never say die' spirit, Minister of State for HRD Shashi Tharoor said that hatred should not flourish and at the same time the incident should not be forgotten. He also said that the unsung heroes of Mumbai 2008 should be remembered.
