Muslim artisans work in Bhadrakali temple in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, the capital and commercial heart of the western state of Gujarat enjoys a thriving cultural tradition. It is not only a centre of cultural activities but it also exhibits diverse traditions of different communities that have existed here in harmony since ages. And one gets to see a perfect example of this fact at Bhadrakali temple located inside Bhadra Fort. The 800-year-old Hindu temple is undergoing extensive renovation. It has a number of Muslim artisans working on marble that will be used for the temple's decoration.
