Muzaffarnagar riots: BJP MLA Suresh Rana arrested

72 hours after the arrest warrants were issued against politicians accused of inciting communal violence through inflammatory speeches in Muzaffarnagar, the Akhilesh Yadav government has arrested BJP MLA Suresh Rana. Rana had been attending Uttar Pradesh assembly session for the last few days even as police officials had been waiting outside the building to arrest political leaders accused of making inflammatory speeches.
