Nationwide support for Anna

Supporters of anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare are observing a fast in his home village of Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra as an act of solidarity. The 74-year-old activist today embarked on a daylong hunger strike to press his demand for a strong Lokpal bill at Jantar Mantar. While interacting with mediapersons village head Jaisingh Mapari said the entire village was in support of Hazare. Hazare's followers also gathered in Bangalore, calling for support of his version of the anti-graft legislation.
