Navy beefs up security in coastal area

In the wake of November 27 terror strikes in Mumbai, the Indian Navy has beefed up the security in the coastal areas of Mumbai. Addressing the media Naval Chief of Southern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Sunil Damle said that the navy is intensely searching the suspicious vessels or ships in the vicinity of Mumbai. Described as one of the biggest terror attacks of its kind so far, 101 people have lost their lives and 287 are injured.
