Nightlife returns to Kashmir

An ebb in Kashmir's separatist insurgency and a slow but progressing peace process between India and Pakistan has brought visitors to nightlife in Srinagar, the valley's main town. These days, the Dal Lake known for its idyllic stillness and surrounded by Himalayan mountains, are buzzing with activities late into the night, with hordes of visitors hanging out or enjoying a boat ride, known as Shikara.
