Nitish presses on demand for Bihar's special status

Bihar chief minister Bihar Nitish Kumar today reiterated his demand of special status for his state. Briefing reporters in Patna, Kumar said that the central government must take special care of backward states for the country's overall development. He also highlighted the need of setting up industries in the state and generating employment in order to change Bihar's image of being associated with provider of labour resource.
