Nokia Siemens Networks inaugurates its manufacturing facility in Chennai in with the cost of 70 million US dollars. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi inaugurated the Nokia Siemens Network Facility for the manufacture and distribution of mobile communication infrastructure at Oragadam near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Over the next three years the company plans to invest 300 cores rupees in the facility to generate 400 new jobs for the local people.
