Not sure if govt will take action on scam report: Santosh Hegde

Ahead of submitting his report on the illegal mining scam to the state chief secretary, Karnataka lokayukta Santosh Hegde said today that he is not sure whether government will take any action on his report. The report, which got leaked in media, indicts Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa and other ministers in the illegal mining scam. Speaking to mediapersons in Bangalore, Hegde said though he does not except any action from the government. The outgoing Lokyukta said that there is a threat to the staff of Lokyukta Committee as the report goes against the ruling state government.
