Now, wind-propelled mobile charger

Engineering students of a women's polytechnic college in Puducherry have designed a mobile charger that generates electricity from wind energy. According to them, this invention will be an advantage for train and bus commuters who don't have plug points to charge their cell phones during long distance travel. The model of the mobile charger has bagged the first prize at a competition organised by the state ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
