'Operation Monsoon' a means to ward off poachers

To keep a check on the increasing activities of poachers in and around the Rajaji National Park during monsoon season, the officials of the Forest Department have launched 'Operation Monsoon'. The primary aim of the programme is to ward off the poachers from the Rajaji National Park and take care of the wild life. The operation consists of several teams that keep scanning and monitoring the entire forest area.
