Opposition demands probe into Batcha's death

Reacting on the death of former Telecom Minister A Raja's close aide Sadiq Batcha on Wednesday, leaders of the opposition parties refused to pass off the incident as suicide. They said a thorough probe by the police is a must to ascertain the cause of Batcha's demise. Interacting with mediapersons BJP senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said certain apprehensions have surfaced since there were reports that Batcha wanted to be an approver in the telecom scam case.
